How to maintain the chain saw later? Posted by : admin / Posted on : Jul 23,2021

Everyone must be very familiar with saws, because many operations require saws to complete. Chain saw is a kind of saw, which has been used in logging and lumbering fields for a long time, and it is easy to operate and easy to carry.
The most important thing in the maintenance of a chain saw is the saw chain. The correct maintenance is that the sharpened saw chain can be easily sawed into the wood with a small amount of pressure. In daily maintenance, you need to pay attention to check whether there are cracks or broken rivets on the chain links of the saw chain. It is also necessary to replace any damaged or worn parts on the saw chain, and then match new parts with the same shape and size as the original.
The sharpening of the saw chain is usually done by a service dealer. The serration angle must be maintained when sharpening. The angles of all saw teeth must be the same. If they are different, the saw rotation will be uneven, and the wear is still relatively serious, and even the saw chain jaw may break. In addition, the length of all saw teeth must be the same. If they are different, the tooth height will be different, which directly causes the saw chain to rotate unsteadily, leading to the final break. After sharpening, clean the saw chain more thoroughly, mainly cleaning the burrs or dust attached to it and cleaning and lubricating the saw chain. If it is not used for a long time, it is necessary to ensure that the saw chain is stored in a well-lubricated state.
For chainsaws that have been stored for a long time, the fuel tank must first be completely emptied in a well-ventilated place, and it must also be cleaned. Always run the engine before the carburetor dries out to prevent the carburetor diaphragm from sticking. After removing the saw chain and guide plate, it is necessary to clean, and finally spray anti-rust oil. When cleaning the machine thoroughly, special attention should be paid to the cylinder cooling and air filter. If you use lubricating oil for bio-saw chains, you need to fill up the lubricating oil tank.
