What protective gear must be worn before using Gasoline Garden Tools? Posted by : admin / Posted on : Oct 17,2025

Protective Equipment Before Using Gasoline Garden Tools

1. Hard Hat: Protects against falling objects or flying blades.
2. Goggles or safety glasses: Protects eyes from debris, branches, or metal shavings.
3. Noise-Reducing Earmuffs/Earplugs: Gasoline engines are noisy, and prolonged exposure can cause hearing loss.
4. Non-slip and Wear-Resistant Work Shoes: Prevent slips on wet grass or uneven surfaces and provide foot protection.

How to Ensure Safety When Using Gasoline Garden Tools?

1. Check the Working Environment: Ensure there are no people, children, or animals within 15 meters. Clear the ground of foreign objects such as rocks and metal fragments to prevent the blade from getting stuck and causing it to spin.
2. Wear Protective Gear Correctly: Wear a hard hat, goggles, earmuffs, and non-slip shoes at all times. Do not wear loose clothing or slippers when working. 3. Observe operating procedures: Use in good lighting and high visibility; do not operate between the 12:00 and 2:00 blade positions; turn off the engine before starting, avoid open flames, and do not smoke while refueling.
4. Maintain a reasonable operating time: Continuous operation should not exceed 60 minutes, with breaks of 10–20 minutes between operations to prevent overheating and operator fatigue.
